Beware of Harmon Grocery Store!!! I purchased over $1,000.00 worth of canned food storage about 1 year ago at Harmon's case lot sale. The manager told me that the products I was buying were suitable for storage and that the cans were top grade and I could expect a shelf life of at least a couple of years.
Well, 6 months later, I noticed in my storage room that I had thick, yukky syrup running down behind and in front of the shelves. I opened the boxes to find that all of the cans had exploded. I called Harmon's managment at the store, they told me they would certainly give me a credit of some sort; They referred me to the corporate offices in Salt Lake City. In the meantime, my son and I spent two whole days hauling over 30 cases of food up the stairs, out to our truck and hauled all the food to the junk. The storage room was a mess. I had to scrub it for hours and hours. I even had to repaint the shelves. Harmon's corporate offices got back to me and told me they would do absolutely nothing.
It has been a year and I have not stepped foot inside the store again. And I don't plan on it. In addition to this, shortly after the case food incident, I discovered that discount movie tickets that I had bought at Harmons actually had already expired when they sold them to me. They would do nothing about that either. As I say, I am not a slow learner.....I don't shop there any more!!! You might be fine as long as nothing goes wrong, but if it does, you are definitely on your own. - Guest

That is a horrible story! I will never shop there again also because of their poor customer service.

As a follow-up on the last review......I have just spent another three days in my storage room cleaning up after the last of the cases of food that I bought at Harmons. These were cans of peaches that had eaten right through the cans and the syrup had turned into black tar-like syrup that was like blasting off road tar. I wouldn't be so mad, if the good folks at Harmons hadn't billed theses storage items as being the Best of the Best cans....cans that would last for years. Oh yeah!! I didn't even bother calling Harmons this time. I knew they wouldn't do anything as usual. I have just learned my lessen. I don't shop at Harmons any more!!!!!!!!!! I am not a slow learner.
