This place is the worst. I moved here from the very subaru friendly NorthEast where our dealership was awesome.
First try at Doug Smith - lube and wash. The car came back filthy. I can only imagine what the quality of the work was under the hood.
So I decide to give them another try two years later. My registration needs to be renewed and I have a headlight out. So I figure they can do all of that...safety, emissions, registration renewal and the headlight. I give them a call and the guy says oh yeah come right in.
So I did. And the guy in the service bay looks at me completely confused. I tell him I just made and appointment and was told to come right on in. He says who told you that? Like I got his name. He looks me up on the list and recognizes the handwriting as that of "a manager that doesn't have a clue what is going on".
What a circus and a waste of time. It will be alot longer than two years before I try them out again.
I headed down the street to Jiffy Lube and they had me all ready to go in about 20 minutes.....and fixed my headlight FOR FREE!!!
Without a decent dealership around here, I won't be buying a subaru again any time soon either. - Guest
