If my only other option wasn't dialup, I would drop Hughesnet. Have called their techinical support line several times and they can never fix anything but they always waste your time going through their scripted troubleshooting guide. Then they escalate your call to their next level. Of course the next level will cdall you back in 24 - 48 hours. Please, just start me off there !! THis time I was escalated all the way to level 4 (Ooohhh !). At the 48 hr point I called them - still wrking on the problem - need 4 more days. So on day six, they claim they called, but nothing on caller ID or answering machine. I call and they say it will be another 6 days waiting. So I speak to the floor supervisor and he says he will expedite the processes. Yeah right. So after 6 more days I call and again, tehy claim to have called - this time three times. Funny, nothing on caller ID or answering machine. So what did they do? They closed the case. Didn't fix anything, just closed it. WOW. Now, I'm writing reviews and writing the BBB.
